Our team looked back on an extremely exciting year at illustrate inc as we celebrated our 20th anniversary on September 5, 2009. During our first year in business, I worked in the back of my wife’s flower shop on a Zenith laptop with only 704k of RAM, a very powerful machine at that time. I am truly astounded by the advances in technology over the past two decades. My Smartphone alone has more capability than I ever imagined possible on a personal computer, let alone a “telephone”. And just last month, we performed a product demonstration that involved delivering an illustration directly to a Smartphone. As an organization, we remain committed to leveraging ongoing advances in technology in order to deliver cutting-edge solutions that enable you to run your business more efficiently.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your business support over the years. Since our founding in 1989, we have helped nearly 20 Canadian life insurance clients meet their business objectives through innovative illustration software and other point-of-sale solutions. We look forward to expanding our business beyond our borders as we explore new opportunities in the US market and farther abroad.
I would be remiss if I were not also to thank illustrate inc’s talented staff, who never cease to amaze me with their creativity and innovative thinking. I’m very proud of the team we have assembled and of the way in which they address the often complex and ever-changing needs of our clients.
Lastly, I would like to express my sincere wishes for a warm, safe and peaceful holiday season and for a happy, healthy and productive 2010.
